Elizabeth Broomfield

Managing Partner, Aquitaine Capital

Elizabeth Broomfield is the Managing Partner at Aquitaine Capital, a middle market private equity firm based in New York City. She was previously an investor at the Carlyle Group in their flagship U.S. Buyout fund, at Stonecourt Capital where she led the investment team, and with Hg Capital investing in growth and buyout deals. She graduated with distinction from Yale University with a double major in Electrical Engineering and Ethics, Politics, and Economics, earned a masters from the London School of Economics, and received her JD/MBA from Columbia University, where she graduated with highest honors as a Kent Scholar and with Dean’s Honors. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Mark Fields

Senior Advisor, TPG; Board Member, Qualcomm, Inc., Hertz Global Holdings, Tanium; Former CEO and President, Ford Motor Company

Mark Fields served as president and chief executive officer of Ford Motor Company and was a member of the company’s board of directors from 2014-2017. Fields’ strong leadership was critical to the company’s North American restructuring and turnaround in the late 2000’s, and record global profits and margins in both 2015 and 2016.

He joined Ford in 1989 and progressed through a number of leadership positions in the United States, South America, Asia and Europe. Throughout his career, he has managed a series of turnarounds in many of Ford’s businesses around the world, most notably as president of The Americas, where he led a transformation of the company’s North America operations.

Fields formerly served as chief operating officer, Ford Motor Company, a position to which he was named in December 2012. In this role, and as CEO, he was responsible for overseeing Ford’s fastest global manufacturing expansion in 50 years, and managing the most aggressive global product introduction schedule in the company’s history. Prior to this, Fields served as executive vice president, Ford Motor Company.

He was named president, The Americas, in October 2005. He also formerly served as executive vice president, Ford of Europe and Premier Automotive Group, where he led all activities for Ford’s premium vehicle business
group, and for Ford brand vehicles manufactured and sold in Europe. Prior to this, Fields was chairman and chief executive officer, Premier Automotive Group.

From 2000 to 2002, he was president and chief executive officer, Mazda Motor Corporation, leading the company through a significant transformation. Fields was named a Global Leader of Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum in 2000 and CNBC Asia Business Leader –Innovator of the Year in 2001.

Earlier in his career, Fields held a number of positions in both North America and South America, including managing director, Ford Argentina.

Fields served as chair of the U.S.-China Business Council from June 2015 to May 2017.

Fields currently serves as a Senior Advisor to TPG, a leading global alternative asset firm founded in 1992 with more than $80 billion of assets under management. He currently serves on the boards of 3 TPG portfolio boards. He also serves as an independent director on Qualcomm, Inc, Hertz Global Holdings, and is the lead independent director at Tanium.

Born in January 1961, Fields holds an economics degree from Rutgers University and an MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business

Bob Nardelli

Founder, XLR-8, LLC; Former CEO, Cerberus Operations Advisory Company; Former CEO and Chairman, Chrysler Corporation; Former President and CEO, The Home Depot

Bob Nardelli is the founder and CEO of XLR-8 LLC, an investment and consulting company, which he formed in 2012. He is also senior operating partner at CORE Industrial Partners and senior advisor to EY. Mr. Nardelli formerly served as advisor to Emigrant Bank and to the founder of Cerberus Capital Management L.P. (Cerberus), a private equity firm, and held several senior positions with Cerberus and Cerberus Operations and Advisory Company LLC from 2007 to 2015. Mr. Nardelli also serves as a director of several private equity firms.

He served as chairman and CEO of Chrysler LLC from 2007 until 2009, and served as chairman, president and CEO of The Home Depot Inc. from 2000 to 2007. Previously, Mr. Nardelli held several senior executive positions with General Electric Company.

Mr. Nardelli has over 50 years of global operating and financial experience, including with large publicly traded manufacturing companies.

With almost two decades of experience, Georgeta Precup has supported private equity-backed management service organizations, specializing in medical and healthcare services, and business services. Georgeta began her career in public accounting and then spent over a decade in the corporate world in various finance executive roles. For the past few years, she has been an operating partner with Albaron Partners, a small PE firm in NYC, where she served as Acting CFO for three of their portfolio companies. She has built a successful career in growth-oriented, acquisition-focused companies.

Georgeta is an expert in controllership, reporting, management accounting, GAAP accounting & policies, SOX compliance, audit, tax, revenue cycle management, HR and payroll, M&A, business development, Treasury, FP&A, and ERP platform implementations. Her achievements include managing over 15 acquisitions with enterprise valuations ranging from $5 million to $150 million and leading equity and debt transactions, including leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations.

Mark Williams

CEO, Legal Services

Mark WIlliams is currently CEO of Magna Legal Services, a private equity backed company that offers legal support services and technology on a national basis with 18 offices throughout the country. Williams was formerly President/COO of PPL Group and Big Shoulders Capital, a financial services firm. Prior to that, he was president and CEO of Kroll Ontrack, a leading legal technology company with over 1200 employees and 35 offices in 20 countries, which was subsequently purchased and became KLDiscovery where Williams was President/COO and served on the Board. 

Williams also previously held senior positions leading businesses at Huron Consulting and Axiom Global, and a 17-year career at the global law firm of DLA Piper as a corporate and M&A attorney (including Managing Partner in Beijing, China) and helped the firm’s international expansion. Williams has served globally in North America, Asia, and the Middle East as a senior executive. Williams holds a JD from Columbia University School of Law, an MBA from the University of Maryland / Beijing University for International Business & Economics, an MSc in International Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Illinois.

Pascal Yammine

CEO, Zilliant

Pascal joined Zilliant as CEO in 2022. He brings more than 20 years of experience in executive roles within enterprise software and business consulting, with proven leadership in developing strategic visions, developing new products and programs that can be scaled globally, and leading organizations through digital transformations.

Most recently, Pascal was the Senior Vice President & General Manager of Salesforce Revenue Cloud, where he led product direction, marketing, go-to-market and operations. In that role, Pascal scaled the Salesforce CPQ business into the next $1B cloud. He previously held various leadership roles in the Salesforce Customer Success Group, numerous senior consulting roles and executive roles in media and communications industries, ran his own successful consulting firm, and served as chief information officer of a communication service provider.

Pascal earned a Bachelor of Arts and master’s degree in Organizational Communication from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Paul Aversano

Paul Aversano

Managing Director and Global Practice Leader, Global Transaction Advisory, Alvarez & Marsal

Paul Aversano is a Managing Director at Alvarez & Marsal and the Global Practice Leader of the firm’s Global Transaction Advisory Group. For over 25 years, Mr. Aversano has specialized in leading both buy-side and sell-side financial and accounting due diligence projects for complex public and private company transactions, as well as transactions in the capital markets.

Mr. Aversano works to deliver the firm’s services to clients not only in North America but throughout Europe, the Middle East, India, Asia and Latin America as well. He leads the group’s efforts in the cross-border delivery of services to private equity firms, sovereign wealth funds and family offices as well as to corporate and strategic buyers around the world across a wide-spectrum of industries.  Mr. Aversano specializes in assessing quality of earnings and GAAP accounting, providing accounting and transaction structuring advice for leveraged buyouts as well as purchase accounting and SEC reporting.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Aversano was a Partner and Director of Middle Market Private Equity with Ernst & Young in New York. In this role, he led financial accounting due diligence projects for private equity investor groups, and the development and coordination of the firm’s go-to-market and service delivery strategies focused on the private equity market. Previously, Mr. Aversano was with Arthur Andersen’s Transaction Advisory Services and Audit practices in New York.

Mr. Aversano earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Binghamton University, School of Management. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in New York, and is an active member of the American Institute of CPAs, the New York State Society of CPAs and is also a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE). He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Answer the Call (New York Police & Fire Widows’ & Children’s Benefit Fund) and PowerPlay NYC and is a former board member of Youth I.N.C (Improving Non-Profits for Children), the Audit Committee of the Manhasset School Board of Education and the Alumni Association Board of Directors of Binghamton University. In 2019, Mr. Aversano was also the recipient of the B. Jean Fairbairn Access Award in recognition of his efforts and contributions in improving the services and access for students with disabilities at Binghamton University. 

In 2015 Mr. Aversano was named the “Service Professional of the Year” by The M&A Advisor and was formerly a finalist of The M&A Advisor’s 40 Under 40 Award in recognition of outstanding achievements in the M&A and financial industry. Mr. Aversano is a regular contributor to FOX Business Network, Bloomberg, Yahoo Finance, TD Ameritrade Network and many other broadcast and print media outlets, and is a frequent guest lecturer at industry conferences and universities. 

Joey Baruch

Chief Technology Officer, Alvarez & Marsal Data Intelligence Gateway (A&M DIG)

Joey Baruch is a Chief Technology Officer with Alvarez & Marsal Data Intelligence Gateway (A&M DIG) in New York. He oversees technological research and development, which includes creating and implementing technology strategies such as data acquisition channels, full-stack architecture, data engineering, machine learning model development and deployment at optimal performance; aligns technology resources; manages research and development; implements next-generation intelligence capabilities; and assists in recruiting, onboarding, and training IT managers and personnel.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Baruch co-founded HuMoov, a vertical SaaS startup.​ Previously, he worked for PayPal, IBM Research Labs, and Qualcomm. At IBM, he participated in cutting-edge research projects involving graph databases, distributed computing, and natural language processing. At PayPal, he served as a Big Data Infrastructure Engineer, building a near-real-time general-purpose event processing engine. ​

Mr. Baruch earned a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from The Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and an MBA from Cornell Tech. He served in the Israeli Military Special Forces. ​

Ted Bililies

Ted C. Bililies, Ph.D.

Ted Bililies is an internationally recognized expert on leadership and organization development and the Chief Talent Officer of AlixPartners. Ted launched the first commercial practice in leadership and human capital at AlixPartners which advises investors, CEOs, and boards on the selection and development of leaders and the alignment of culture for maximum and sustainable value creation. Ted’s career spans three decades as a psychologist, human resources executive, management consultant, and executive coach. Kristina Isakovich

Kristina has more than 20 years of global operating and consulting experience at organizations ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies in a variety of high-tech industries, including life sciences, medical devices, and aerospace. She focuses on solving complex business problems and transforming organizations to meet changing customer needs. In addition to her roles as Fortune 500 chief marketing officer and chief strategy officer, Kristina has expertise in product development, commercial operations, supply chain, and postmerger integration. She has led cost-reduction and postmerger integration efforts in the aerospace and defense industry as well as global marketing organizations, overseeing product strategy and go to market for medical devices and life sciences tools.​

Steven Lee

Managing Director, Alvarez & Marsal

Steven Lee is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Global Transaction Advisory Group in New York. As the Global Practice Leader for the firm’s Global Transaction Analytics service offering, he focuses on applying advanced data analytics in buy- and sell-side transactions, capital market activities and performance improvement. He also leads the Global TAG AI Task Force at A&M, overseeing the charge to adopt Gen AI into the core strategy.

Mr. Lee brings more than 20 years of specialist experience helping clients effectively analyze and draw decision insights from financial and operational business data. He brings significant international experience throughout Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and Asia. Mr. Lee has worked with clients across various industries, including consumer products, distribution, retail, healthcare, software, financial services and business services.

Mr. Lee advises clients across the lifecycle of private equity investments and corporate transactions. He assists private equity firms and other strategic buyers to obtain financial and operational transparency in companies to make informed investment decisions and drive growth.

Most recently at A&M, Mr. Lee advised a private equity firm contemplating investment into a home furnishing company by developing dynamic analytics models to review historical trends in sales, customer retention, new and lost products, SKU margin and year-over-year pricing trends. He also analyzed actual versus forecasted financials to provide insight into future potential earnings. Prior to joining A&M’s Global Transaction Advisory Group, Mr. Lee led the Applied Data Analytics service offering for the firm’s Disputes and Investigations practice.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Lee worked at global consulting firms, including a Big Four accounting firm, performing investigative data analytics in the context of fraud, risk management and regulatory compliance.

Mr. Lee earned a bachelor’s degree in science and engineering (concentration in computer and telecommunication engineering) from the University of Pennsylvania. He is fluent in English and Korean and proficient in Spanish.

Abde Tambawala

Abde Tambawala is a Partner in the Technology, Media, and Telecom practice. He works in our San Francisco where he supports our clients on Revenue Strategy and Monetization.

Abde brings comprehensive experience crafting and executing effective go-to-market strategies, optimizing sales productivity, and enhancing growth through monetization efforts. Additionally, he has developed high-performing revenue teams in key leadership roles for industry-leading organizations.

Prior to joining Simon-Kucher, Abde was Global VP of Revenue Strategy & Operations and Enablement at Klaviyo, where he played a strategic role in preparing the company for a successful IPO and beyond. He has also held key leadership positions with Atlassian, Intercom, and Cisco Systems.

Abde holds an MBA from UC Berkeley, a Masters in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor in Engineering from Mumbai University in India.

When he is not working, he enjoys surfing at Pacifica State Beach, giving back to the tech community by advising founders at earlier stage companies, and teaching at his alma mater, UC Berkeley.
